|  | CLINT SMITH, P.E., is Vice President of Technical Services for the Systems Engineering Division of o2wireless. He has extensive experience in both RF and network design and optimization engineering in cellular, PCS, LMDS, and ESMR communication systems using Lucent, Ericsson, Nortel, Motorola, and Netro equipment. He has been responsible for system-wide design and optimization, specialty applications including in-building and tunnel projects, and network operations'center design and implementation. In addition to his experience with wireless operators where his last position was as Director of Engineering, NYNEX Mobile, New York City, he also has experience with equipment vendors as a Senior Engineer for Motorola Cellular Infrastructure Group. He has authored numerous articles appearing in industry trade journals and is the author of LMDS: LOCAL MULTIPOINT DISTRIBUTION SERVICE, WIRELESS TELECOM FAQs, PRACTICAL CELLULAR AND PCS DESIGN, and the co-author of CELLULAR SYSTEM DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION.
