The opening set is largely rude boy and troublesome girl business. Disc Two bridges the gap between Ska and Rocksteady, opening with The Ethiopians' 'Train To Skaville', itself more Rocksteady than Ska and recorded in 1967 just as Rocksteady was about to take over. The third segment celebrates that unique moment at the end of the '60s and the start of the '70s when Ska really was embraced by British youth and it was nothing unusual for a Jamaican act to turn up in the UK charts. 59 tracks.
