 | Everyone knows the name of the colossal single from Billy Ray Cyrus’ record-breaking 1992 album "Some Gave All" – the infamous "Achy Breaky Heart" (which also inspired a line dance craze). A performance by Johnny Cash at the jail renewed Haggard s determination to make it in country music. He went on to have 24 No.1 hits with Capitol Records, and that continued into the 90s after stays with Epic, Mercury and Curb. He has enjoyed over 100 entries on Billboard s Top Country Singles. Merle Haggard is captured live on the famous US TV series Church Street Station.
