| | Two CD set of Run DMC's albums, Run DMC and King Of Rock. Run-D.M.C. is the eponymous debut album of the influential hip hop group Run-D.M.C.. Produced in 1984, it was considered quite groundbreaking for its time, presenting a harder, more aggressive form of Hip Hop. The album's stark electronic beats and energetic rhymes were in sharp contrast with the lightweight, funky sound that was popular in hip hop at the time. The album was reissued as a "Deluxe Edition" in 2005 with four bonus tracks.King of Rock is the second album by hip hop trio RunD.M.C. Produced in 1985, the album sees the group adopting a more rock-influenced sound, with several tracks prominently featuring heavy guitar riffs. | | 400 years ago, in the year 1605, three Germans met in a now famous hospital in central Berlin. They were Mähne Meenen, Axel Tasler, and Jan Wilking. Their exploits, adventures, and revolutionary experiments put them on the map of modern medicine, engineering, and pediatrics. There was a time when they were the most famous threesome on the Continent; untouchable, near-godlike, and full of pride. But hard times were ahead... Something went terribly wrong after their now infamous meeting with King Gustav II, and the three were split up for many years. Later, in the late 17th Century, a secret meeting was held with Stefan Herwig who proposed that the trio make a comeback, this time as the best EBM band in the world. Under Herr Herwig's brilliant direction, the doctors formed Steril and, despite their deep sadness, embarked on a world tour that saw them become true pioneers in the genre. Shortly after, our three heroes released Transmission Pervous, Egoism, and Venus Trap on the... (less)Artist: Steril | $10 - $20 2 Merchants |

| | Sharam Jey, DJ and producer, launched his own label King Kong Records 5 years ago. After years releasing stuff on different kinds of labels and remix works for international acts such as Moby, he had the feeling it was time to start his own label and so King Kong Records was born. The purpose was to release ground-breaking electronic dance music. The original intention to just release his own material, from Djs for Djs, was soon amended by the idea of giving new talented artists a platform for their work and so King Kong started signing new acts. The first cd will be compiled by Sharam Jey himself. This Mix will feature some King Kong classics and favourites like „4 Da Loverz", „The King" and „Monday Morning". But also some new unreleased cuts from Nick K, Patrick Alavi and new King Kong signing El Carlitto. The second cd will be mixed by the LouLou Players, one of the main acts of the King Kong Crew. This set will be a mixture of an artist album and a DJ-mix. (less)MSI:CENTRAL STATION | $43 amazon.com |
